National Preparedness Month


Are you Ready? We can all take simple actions to plan and prepare. National Preparedness Month is a nationwide effort held each year in September to encourage Americans to take simple steps to prepare themselves, their homes, businesses, schools and houses of worship for emergencies. The goal of National Preparedness Month is to increase the overall number of individuals, families, and communities that engage in preparedness – that means you! This year’s national theme is “Disasters Don’t Plan Ahead. You Can.”
