SD Emergency Import Troubleshooting


Apple/iOS

Some web mails or other emails not installed using the Email Account application may show the SDEmergency.cosd file as a text file and when you tap on it, you may just see the text in it. If this happens you have to make sure to setup the Email Account application.

Android

Some web mails or other emails not installed using the Email Account application may show the SDEmergency.cosd file as a text file and when you tap on it, you may just see the text in it. If this happens you have the following options:

      Save the File then Import

  1. Save the email attachment (SD Emergency.cosd) onto your device.
  2. Tap three dots on right side of attachment
  3. Tap Save
  4. Go to Apps -> My Files -> All Files -> Device Storage -> Download
  5. Tap on SDEmergency.cosd
  6. The SD Emergency app will launch to the home screen.
  7. Tap the “Yes” button when prompted with the message “Import Emergency Plan/Kit?”.

      Try setting up Email Account through Settings

  1. In Settings, pick Accounts
  2. Tap Add account
  3. Tap Email
  4. Enter your email address and password
  5. Tap Next

      Try setting up Email by going to Apps, and find Email Icon

  1. Tap Add account
  2. Tap Email
  3. Enter your email address and password
  4. Tap Next
